Maestro Giuseppe De Trizio performs the song Vincenzina e la fabbrica (Enzo Jannacci – Beppe Viola, 1974) in the gallery.

The text tells in few but effective words about life in the factory, in Milan, in those years.

The floor of the gallery is evidence of the experience, of the heavy trampling of many women exploited and without rights in an old spinning mill in Milan between the mid-nineteenth century and the mid-twentieth century. The building was demolished in the 80s of the last century but fortunately the floor was saved, now mounted in the gallery, choosing to preserve all the signs of its long tormented Milanese life.
