Luciano Lupoletti

Luciano Lupoletti, in his works, manages to interpret and transform into images everything that passes in an individual’s mind in a second, in a night, in a lifetime. The splendid titles he offers should act as a summary guide in the analysis of the work but they often have the opposite effect, further complicating the work. The cultural and artistic contaminations are transferred into the work with elegance and the skilful use of color and the study of technique restore a true work that conveys the idea of a well-studied and structured project, where it becomes even more interesting to be able to have more works to capture the recurring philosophy. Placing Luciano Lupoletti’s works within the surrealist world would be a reductive interpretation, an excessive schematization that would not do justice to his lifelong research.

Luciano Lupoletti was born in Atri (TE).

A self-taught painter, his obsession began since childhood, manipulating material and non-material objects with scissors, paper, arranged brushes and so on to create the new.

With adulthood the recognitions begin, among which he was twice in the final of the Mondadori Art Prize: in 2008 and 2012.

He says of himself: “My goal has no end, for me aesthetics is not static, my research takes place through the morphemes of fantasy using consciously and not the present, the past and predicting the future, I go to generate in my changing visions, a kaleidoscopic creativity, daughter of a DNA inherent in the accordion folds of my imagination which, unsatisfied, also flows into poetry where I have received welcome recognition with the pseudonym Febo Apollo Lupoletti; three publishers have published my anthologies for free:

  1. “Lasciami sola ma portami via”, collana Minimalia, 2019 Editore L’Inedito;
  2. “Poesie scomparse”, 2020, Lupi editore;
  3. “Lampi di genio”, collana Solaris, 2021, Montag Editore”.

In 2011 he created the Vagiti Ultimi event (a national and global artists’ event) which subsequently took place for ten editions.
