Cadovius founded Royal Systems in 1945, revolutionizing interior design with suspended shelving systems. By 1950 he had won major Scandinavian awards, and in 1957 he earned the Silver Medal at the XI Triennale di Milano. Between 1964 and 1967 he acquired France & Søn, renaming it Cado, and collaborated with leading Scandinavian designers. His minimalist modernism combined elegance, functionality, and industrial production, influencing designers worldwide.
