This policy is also inspired by Recommendation no. 2/2001 that European authorities for personal data protection, gathered in the Group established by Article 29 of Directive no. 95/46/EC, adopted on May 17, 2001, to establish certain minimum requirements for the collection of personal data online, and, in particular, the manner, timing, and nature of the information that data controllers must provide to users when they connect to web pages, regardless of the purposes of the connection.

Place of Data Processing

Data processing related to the web services of this site takes place at the above-mentioned headquarters of the Company and is handled only by the technical staff in charge of the processing. If necessary, data related to some services may be processed by personnel of companies responsible for the maintenance of the technological part of the site (appointed as data processors pursuant to Article 29 of the Personal Data Protection Code), at the premises of the companies themselves. Types of Data Processed

Personal Data

The data controller will process personal data. “Personal data” refers to all information through which the data subject can be personally identified, and includes, by way of example but not limited to, name, surname, date of birth, address, gender, email contact, landline phone, mobile device number, valid ID document.

Browsing Data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This is information that is not collected to be associated with identified individuals, but that by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the server’s response (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and computing environment. These data are used only to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning and are deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site; except for this possibility, web contact data do not persist for more than seven days.

The optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of emails to the addresses indicated on this site involves the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message.

Data Provided by Minors

No personal data should be entered on the site by minors without prior consent from parents or guardians. The Company encourages all parents and guardians to teach minors to use their personal data online in a secure and responsible manner. Purpose of Data Processing

The personal data provided will be processed by the Company in compliance with the provisions of the Code for administrative purposes related to contractual needs and for the resulting fulfillment of legal and contractual obligations, as well as to achieve effective management of commercial relationships. Data processing is therefore necessary for the fulfillment of obligations assumed towards users, for compliance with legal, regulatory, or community law requirements, and for the exercise of the Company’s rights in judicial proceedings.

These purposes include:

  • Safe browsing and registration on this website to use the relevant content, the acquisition and management of your product and/or service requests, and related administrative and tax compliance;
  • With your consent and until your objection, direct marketing activities by the data controller through the sending of commercial/promotional/informative communications via mail, telephone, SMS, fax, email, including possible subscription to mailing lists and/or newsletters.

Optional Nature of Data Provision

The provision of data for purpose a) above is optional but necessary. Refusal to provide data will result in the inability to provide the requested services and/or products. The data controller also states that any failure to provide or incorrect communication of one of the mandatory pieces of information has the following consequences: the data controller’s inability to guarantee the accuracy of the processing; the possible failure to match the processing results with any obligations imposed by tax, administrative, and civil law to which it is directed.

The provision of data for purpose b) above is optional. If data is not provided, the data controller will not be able to provide the service of sending commercial/promotional/informative communications via email, including possible subscription to mailing lists. However, it is understood that failure to provide data for purpose b) will not have any negative impact on the ability to use the services indicated in purpose a).

Communication and Dissemination Scope

Data will not be disseminated. For dissemination, specific consent will be requested. Data may be communicated to third parties for the purposes mentioned above: subjects performing assistance activities (e.g., call centers, help desks, etc.); studios or companies within the framework of assistance and consultancy relationships, including for business management control (accounting, administrative, legal, tax, and financial matters); companies contractually linked to the Company; public entities and administrations for audits and checks in compliance with tax and civil obligations; banks and credit and insurance institutions for economic and insurance activities; competent authorities for compliance with legal obligations and/or public body provisions, upon request. The subjects belonging to the aforementioned categories act as data processors or operate entirely independently as distinct data controllers.

Processing Methods and Retention

Processing will be carried out electronically, automatically, and manually, with methods and tools aimed at ensuring maximum security and confidentiality, by persons specifically appointed in compliance with the provisions of Articles 31 and following of Legislative Decree 196/03. Data will be stored at the controller’s headquarters or at the premises of third parties identified to provide services for the time strictly necessary for the purposes mentioned above and, in any case, no longer than the period prescribed by law. In accordance with current regulations, specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, unlawful or incorrect use, and unauthorized access. Personal data will be retained for a period not exceeding the purposes for which the data was collected and subsequently processed, except for anonymization.

Data Subjects’ Rights

The individuals to whom the personal data refer have the right at any time to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of the same data and to know its content and origin, verify its accuracy, or request its integration or updating, or rectification (Article 7 of the Personal Data Protection Code).

Pursuant to the same article, individuals have the right to request the deletion, transformation into anonymous form, or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, as well as to oppose, in any case, for legitimate reasons, their processing.
